Peter Stewart's Biography

Peter Stewart has over 15 years of experience in the Biomass industry. His work history started in construction and part of his role involved installing HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and Rehau pipework to manifolds using electrofusion (certificated) this pipework connected the field array and boreholes to the plant room. Peter gained employment with a GSHP (Ground Source Heat Pumps) company and after some training was soon installing plant room pipework and all ancilliaries and connecting to the GSHP units.

This work was recognised by a Biomass installation company and Peter took their employment and was soon installing plant room pipework and ancillaries to Biomass boilers. Having an interest in all things green (environmentally friendly). Peter was soon assisting in the Biomass boiler construction and installations and further more Biomass operations. This again progressed and Peter was soon Servicing and maintaining domestic and industrial Biomass units (Gilles and Polytechnic).

Unfortunately the company closed down so Peter had to move on and was soon working within another biomass company servicing and maintaining biomass boilers and again drawing as much knowledge as possible, this time on BINDER and HARGASNER units predominantly but also other boiler manufacturers, domestic and industrial from 45kW up to 3,500kW WID compliant units including LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water), MTHW (Medium Temperature Hot Water), HTHW (High Temperature Hot Water) and Steam units.

Whilst in this role Peter was trained at first in house on these boilers but moved forward to be trained by BINDER as a commissioning engineer. Peter gained his 18th edition electrical qualification as part of this role. Unfortunately this role came to an end and Peter moved on.

Peter took a role as service manager, controlling a small team of engineers and over seeing the maintenance on 38,650kw LTHW Biomass boilers spread around the UK.

Another exciting prospect arose which Peter grabbed with both hands, the role was service and  maintenance engineer for a newly founded company (their first Engineer).

Peter worked with the company over the years at first as a service and maintenance engineer and eventually progressing to Senior Engineer and onto Service, Maintenance and Training Manager, where his role was to in house train the Engineers on various Biomass boilers,  manufacturers and their systems. Peter was responsible for keeping training records in this role.

The Company is well known in the Biomass Industry and Peter was pleased to be a part in its rise to its current status. Whilst in this position Peter grasped all the knowledge he could with both hands in order to improve himself. He has gained CHP knowledge and is now F GAS certificated in order to carry out maintenance and servicing on ORC Units.

Peter has now decided to move on with this knowledge and start his on Biomass and plant room maintenance company.

His goals are to create a company with a second to none Customer service and a reputation of being reliable, efficient and overall a pleasure to deal with.

Our service is designed to be straight forward, direct, and free of unnecessary embellishments. This in turn will alleviate customer stress and make our service easy to deal with.
